When comparing the work of welded connections in the field and bolted connections, we obtain that the main advantages of bolted connections are the speed of execution, cost reduction, ease of inspection by Quality Control and Production because the processes are performed within the industrial plant; the work of control and inspection of the welding in the workshop is much more efficient and safe, therefore it is possible to expect a better quality of welding if it is executed in the plant.
